How to run OpenVPN 3 client on Evren OS

This article guides us on how to run the OpenVPN 3 client on Evren OS.

1. Click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen.

2. Type Evren Control Center in the Search Bar and double-click on it.

3. Also, please look for the Evren icon on the right-bottom of the laptop screen.

4. Right-click and press on "Open". Next, click on the Refresh button.

5. Please look for Scheduled Tasks under Services. Click the Play icon button to run the services immediately, and the status shall change to a "Running now" state.

6. Please wait 1 - 2 minutes and search for OpenVPN 3 in the Search menu. You should able to see "OpenVPN 3 for Linux."

7. Next, please open Dolphin (File Manager), go to the Home directory, and search for the evren-vpn folder.

8. If the folder is empty and contains no .opvn file, please manually add a.ovpn file. You can get the client configuration file (.ovpn) from your OpenVPN Access Server.

9. Next, look for the OpenVPN 3 client icon on the bottom right of your screen, right-click on it, and press Connect.

10. You will be directed to the OpenVPN SSO Sign-In browser page. Please insert your respective email address/username & password and press Sign In.
