How to install Evren Workspaces on Windows 10/11

This article guides us on how to download the Evren VHDX file from the Evren Manager Portal and install Evren Workspace on a Windows 10/11 system.

Step 1: Download VHDX Image file from Evren Manager Portal


1. Browse to Evren Manager Portal.

2. Navigate to Download EvrenOS on the left menu.

3. You will be able to view the Download EvrenOS page with a few settings to be configured.

4. Under Download EvrenOS, you will see a button with an option to Show Generated Images. Click on it and you will be able to see the last creation date and have the option to download the last generated image.

5. To generate the latest image file, please proceed to choose the Microsoft Windows Isolated Image and click Continue.

6. Next, select the respective OS Version, Language, Keyboard Layout, and Time zone before pressing Complete.

7. You will see a message stating We are preparing your bootable image file, you will receive an email once it is ready. You shall receive the bootable image file in your email inbox within 10 minutes.


Step 2: Install EvrenOS Workspaces on Windows 10/11


  1. Please extract the downloaded ZIP file to a preferred folder.

2. Run the "Setup-Evren-Workspace.exe" by double clicking on it.

3. A device restart maybe required for Hyper V enablement. Press OK on the first prompt box and type Y in the Command Prompt (CMD) and hit Enter.

4. After the restart, please run the "Setup-Evren-Workspace.exe" again, it should start creating the instance.

5. Next, please select a folder or location path where the "Evren Workspaces" to be created.

6. You will see a VM instance creating and please click on OK once the setup is successful.

7. Upon completion, you would see a desktop shortcut of the Evren workspaces. Please double click on the shortcut.

8. Please click Connect for the Remote Desktop Connection prompt box.

9. Next, please insert your login credentials to log in to our Evren OS. You may sign in with a local user account or by Single Sign On (SSO) method.
