How to add multiple virtual desktops and switch shortcuts with Evren Workspace (End User)

This article guides us on how to add multiple virtual desktops and shortcuts to switch between the virtual desktops using the Evren Workspace.


How to add multiple virtual desktops

  1. Please click on System Settings and search for Virtual Desktops.

  1. You may click on Add Desktop to add more virtual desktops based on your preference. Upon completion, please click Apply.


How to switch virtual desktops

Method 1 (System Settings)

  1. Please open System Settings and navigator to Shortcuts > KWin to set shortcuts for switching virtual desktops.

  1. You should see entries such as “Switch to Desktop 1” which if you click you’ll notice has a default option of Ctrl+F1. Please insert the desired shortcut keys and do the same for the other options based on the number of created virtual desktops.

Method 2 (Desktop Taskbar)

  1. Please click on the desired virtual desktops to switch screens using the Taskbar.
